Important note: There are two versions of Machine Man in Earth-616 continuity. The original Aaron Stack left Earth with the Celestials. A doppelgänger (impostor) took his place and appeared in many modern titles including Nextwave. The true Machine Man returned in Marvel Comics #1001.
