0.7.0 opened up the community — publish your agents, browse the Agent store. 0.8.0 is about control: making Chervil a more capable everyday browser and putting the power features in your hands.
Make the toolbar yours
The top bar doesn't have to show everything. Pick exactly which buttons you want — Map, History, Schedules, Agents, Bookmark, Save — in Settings → General → Toolbar buttons, or just right-click the top bar for a quick show/hide menu. (Settings and the core navigation always stay, so you can't lock yourself out.) A browser should look the way you work.
Logins that use a popup just work now
This one's been quietly annoying: open a real site in Chervil, click "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Microsoft," and… nothing. Those buttons open an OAuth popup, and Chervil wasn't handling popups — so the sign-in stalled.
Fixed. window.open popups (OAuth/login) now open a real child window that shares your session, so the flow completes and closes itself; and ordinary "open in new tab" links open a fresh Chervil tab. One of those fixes you don't notice — because things just work.
Agents that adapt, not just march in line
0.6.0 introduced agent pipelines — a team that hands off in a fixed order. Now a pipeline can be 🧠 Orchestrated: instead of a fixed sequence, a coordinator looks at the work so far and decides who should act next — and when the team's done. It adapts to results instead of following a script (and it's step-capped, so it always finishes). Toggle it when you save a pipeline.
Browse the Agent store without leaving the app
The community Agent store is now built right into Chervil. Open 👤 Agents → 🏪 Agent store, filter by category, and Add any community agent straight into your own — no round trip to the website.
Spaces that hold your files
A Space could collect pages; now it can hold files. In the 📁 Folders panel, 📌 Pin to Space keeps files as permanent sources for that Space. By default they feed the Space's Synthesize, and a setting lets you fold them into every page you compose in that Space — so your reference material is always in the room.
Dial in how pages look
Not every question wants the same page. Settings → Composed pages → Page style lets you pick Balanced (the default), Rich (visual and dense — charts, diagrams, callouts), or Minimal (lean and fast). Set it once; Sprig composes to taste.
